Digitization Centre (CEDI)

The Digitization Center of the University of Barcelona (CEDI) is a service whose mission is to digitize and process documents generated by the University of Barcelona, on a large scale.

Its main function is to digitize the heritage fund of the Center for Resources for Learning and Research (CRAI) and the funds or objects of the other services of the University of Barcelona, always following two lines of action, the creation of digital copies for long-term dissemination and preservation.

Fine Arts CRAI Library

The Fine Arts CRAI Library provides comprehensive materials for teaching and research activities at the Faculty for the courses: Fine Arts, Conservation and Restoration, and Design.

Biology CRAI Library

The Biology CRAI Library provides comprehensive materials for teaching and research activities at the Faculty for the courses: Biology, Environmental Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences and Biochemistry. It was created in 1982 with the stock of the former Seminary of Biology.

Bellvitge Campus CRAI Library

The Bellvitge Campus CRAI Library provides comprehensive materials for teaching and research activities at the Campus's schools and faculties for the following courses: Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry and Biomedical Sciences, and specialization in Mental Health Nursing.

Clínic Campus CRAI Library

The Clínic Campus CRAI Library offers bibliographic collections, resources, tools and support services for the teaching and research programmes of the courses taught at the Faculty: Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering and Nursing.

Mundet Campus CRAI Library

The Mundet Campus CRAI Library makes available to the university community the bibliographic collections that support the teaching and research programs of the Faculty of Education —Bachelor's Degree in Teacher in Early Childhood Education, Teacher in Primary Education, Pedagogy, Social Education, Social Work and Psychology—, of the Faculty of Psychology, as wall as the master's degrees taught by both faculties.

Earth Sciences CRAI Library

The Earth Sciences CRAI Library provides comprehensive materials for teaching and research activities at the Faculty for the courses: Geology and Sea Sciences

Ownership of the library is shared with GEO3BCN Geociències Barcelona - CSIC.

It has a map library that contains 10,000 maps and 14,000 aerial photographs of Catalonia and Aragon.

Law CRAI Library

The Law CRAI Library provides comprehensive materials for teaching and research activities at the Faculty for the courses: Law, Political and Administrative Sciences, Public Management and Administration, Labour Relations and Human Resources, Criminology, Private Investigation and the Bachelor's degree in Security.

Economics and Business CRAI Library

The Economics and Business CRAI Library provides comprehensive materials for teaching and research activities at the Faculty for the courses: Economics, Statistics, Sociology, Business Management and Administration, Marketing and Market Research, Creation and Management of New Technology-Based Firms, Sport Business Management, Cultural Management, Public Management, Economic History, Internationalization, Business Research, and Financial and Actuarial Sciences.

It is located on two sites:

Pharmacy and Food Science CRAI Library

The Pharmacy and Food Science CRAI Library provides comprehensive materials for teaching and research activities at the Faculty for the courses: Pharmacy, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and Food Science and Technology and Degree in Culinary and Gastronomic Sciences.

Its collections include the Grewe Collection on food and gastronomy.

It has two different locations:
