RCUB includes:
Scientific journals that are currently in print.

Scientific journals that are no longer in print, but whose archives are available in digital format
RCUB enables different types of publication depending on your journal’s needs:
Basic management: publication of only the table of contents and final versions of the papers, in PDF or HTML format.
Full management: management and independent control by the editor of the entire publishing process for the electronic journal, from the receipt of manuscripts by potential authors to the acceptance of papers by an editorial committee, peer review, corrections, etc., and the issue’s final publication.
Reference management: only a description of the journal and publication of the table of contents, where possible.
The purpose of this portal is twofold: to help bring these journals to a wider audience, and to provide UB editors with a tool for managing and publishing their electronic journals.

To enable the editorial management and publication of an electronic journal from a single online platform.

To create a single search and dissemination environment for UB journals.

To encourage publication in digital format and open access.

To facilitate the preservation of journals for future use.

Server maintenance and updating of the OJS open-source software.

Training on the use of OJS.

Advice on managing copyright and intellectual property.

Guidelines for improving a journal’s position in both Spanish and international rankings and for increasing quality and visibility.

Entry of the tables of contents of RCUB journals in
RACO and
Dialnet. When a journal is registered with RCUB, the CRAI regularly updates the tables of contents in both repositories.
Calls for recognition of UB scientific journals
These calls are intended to provide financial assistance to UB members (research groups, teaching staff, UB schools or departments) who publish or wish to publish electronic journals, although the grants may also be used for parallel publication on paper.
