Many of the specimens from the nineteenth century and early twentieth century are not included in the general herbarium, either because they do not yet have the appropriate format or because they form a particular group that should preferably be addressed individually, at least until its study is completed.
Notable examples include the collections of J. Texidor (1838-1885) and J. Planellas (1820-1888), which are currently being studied.
