You can consult the database of our herbarium computerized specimens (approximately 60 % for the moment) organized in the seven collections that conform our herbarium: Algae, Brhyophyta, Cormophyta, Ethnobotany, Fruits and seeds collection, Fungi (including the herbarium of the Catalan Society of Mycology) and Lichens (including lichen herbarium of Dr. J. M. Egea.

Images of herbarium specimens are organized into groups of special interest: nomenclatural types, teaching herbarium, endemic and threatened species, fruits and seeds collection and historical collections.

This contains bibliographic citations georeferenced to UTM grids of at least 10 km and often with additional environmental information, such as altitude, exposure, slope, habitat, etc. Among its many features, the data bank can be consulted for the distribution of each taxon in Catalonia, a list can be obtained of all the taxa present in a given UTM grid square, and it is possible to find out all the communities in which a taxon can be found.

ZamiaDroid: application for Android smart phones
The application allows users to record georeferenced observations of plants in pre-defined fields. For each project, users can put their observations in fields for text, thesaurus and photos. The application also allows users to import and export worksheets and display their observations on maps.
