Open Access policies and guidelines

In recent years various policies have been introduced to encourage Open Access. Most of these policies require that the beneficiaries of research funding deposit their results in a publicly-accessible repository.

 

You should be familiar with such policies so that you know whether or not they affect your research activity.

 

 As a member of the University of Barcelona, you must take into account the University’s you must take into account the University’s institutional policy on Open Access approved in 2011 and updated in 2019, and if you receive state or European funding for a research project, you should check the requirements that apply in each case:
