  Free photocopies

This service provides a free copy of articles (in printed or digital format) from journals subscribed to by the UB that are not held at the CRAI Library you generally use and cannot be accessed online. For example, you may be studying Medicine but require an article from a journal held in the Pharmacy Library.


 The service is aimed at UB teaching and research staff, doctoral students, university master's degree students and administrative and service staff.

 You need to log in to My Account in the Catalog, and then complete the free photocopy request form.


  Copying documents

Users can request copies of documents that are part of the UB's general bibliographic collection, in accordance with current legislation on intellectual property. CRAI Libraries can copy any document that is in the public domain and other documents for research purposes.

 If you request a copy of documents for dissemination purposes, you must fill in the Permission to Use form meet the specific conditions. All copies of items in the Rare Book and Manuscript collection must be requested in situ at the library itself or through the Interlibrary Loan Service if the request is made online. 

 Copies may be printed or in digital format. Digital copies can be requested in black and white or in colour.
